Meadowlands Fire Department 


The The Meadowlands Fire Department (East Rutherford, Bergen County, NJ) is operated by the New Jersey Sports & Entertainment Authority. The department is stationed at the Meadowlands Sports Complex and is tasked with protecting MetLife Stadium which is home of the New York Jets and Giants NFL teams, the Meadowlands Racetrack, American Dream Mall, and the Meadowlands Arena. They are a career department with around 65 firefighters. The Sports Complex houses the Meadowlands Fire Departmant and Emergency Medical Services, and the Internet Technology, Engineering and Site Operations Departments. The NJSEA is also responsible for the Complex’s New Jersey Transit Rail Station operations and maintenance. The department runs out of a single fire station located at 50 Route 120, East Rutherford NJ.

TAC 1, a 2018 Polaris Ranger 4x4 ATV / Kimtek Firelite 65/90/5F


EMS 1, a 2015 Ford / Medix ambulance


Car 1 (Chief Of Department), a 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe


Engine 2, a 1997 E-One 1250/750 that formerly served the Essex Fells NJ Fire Department


TAC 2, a 2014 Club Car Carryall 550 Electric


EMS 2, a 2017 Ford E-350 / Type III Medix ambulance


Car 2, a 2024 Ram 1500
