The Cutchogue Fire Department and its Ladies Auxiliary awarded 10 scholarships totaling $13,000 to graduating members of the Class of 2026. Funding for the scholarship program comes from community fundraising efforts, including the department’s annual scholarship brunch. The June 7 event returned this year following a two-year hiatus while a new firehouse was constructed and drew nearly 200 community members. The department says it has awarded more than $150,000 through the Victoria-Glover scholarship program over the years. The department congratulated the scholarship recipients and the entire Class of 2026, wishing them success in their future education and careers.
