On August 11, at around 5:10 p.m., the Attleboro Fire Department responded to a reported birthing along Interstate 95 North.
When firefighters arrived, they discovered that the father had given birth to the couple's daughter by the side of the road as they were on their way to the hospital. After evaluating the mother and infant, Attleboro fire paramedics concluded that they were both in good health.
For additional assessment, the mother and child were taken to Sturdy Hospital.
