After a three-week rookie training, two new members of the South Portland Fire Department attended a graduation and pinning ceremony at Cash Corner on July 23.
Thru teaching from SPFD members, the candidates expanded their knowledge of fire and emergency medical services during the training. After completing the training, probationary firefighter/AEMT Francesca Marinaro and probationary firefighter/EMT Coleman Pennington started working with the department.
Both members were welcomed and praised by the South Portland Fire Department.
