Vincentown, N.J. — July 15 — On Carey Parks' birthday, the Hampton Lakes Volunteer Fire Company honored her as a firefighter, former chief, and life member. Parks contributed to department operations, emergency response, and community involvement during his more than 25 years of employment. Her lengthy career demonstrated the importance of seasoned volunteers in the fire department. During her tenure at the organization, Parks also held the position of chief, assuming leadership duties.
