Cinnaminson, N.J. — July 16 — Kyle Morris, a firefighter for the Cinnaminson Fire Department, finished the Gloucester County EMS EMT Academy following more than 600 hours of instruction and training. Morris became a licensed EMT after passing his licensing exam. As he returns to a 24-hour shift assignment, he will now finish a few weeks of agency training. His EMS and fire skills will continue to improve as a result of the extra training.

Morris's program completion increased the department's operational staffing by adding another licensed EMS provider. The Cinnaminson Fire Department offers the community emergency medical care, rescue services, and fire control. His new role would mix frequent emergency response responsibilities with ongoing training.
