Members Strengthened Master Stream Skills

Cinnaminson, N.J. — July 13 — Members of the Cinnaminson Fire Department received training in master stream operations, with an emphasis on the apparatus utilized to deliver high water flows during fireground operations. Firefighters worked on creating a dependable water supply and practiced using the equipment deck gun and Blitz Fire. Hose deployment, equipment positioning, and crew coordination for water supply and suppression were all reinforced during the training.


When enormous amounts of water are required at a fire, master streams offer firefighters a practical solution. Members gained further experience with water supply tasks and equipment operation during the practical session. The department's preparedness for more significant fire emergencies requiring coordinated suppression efforts was enhanced by the training.
