Chews Landing, N.J. — August 1 — Relay pumping and master stream operations were the main topics of a coordinated training evolution led by Ladder 82, Squad 86, and Squad 88.

Crews had the chance to practice moving significant amounts of water while collaborating with other companies throughout the drill. Members concentrated on coordinated water delivery, pump operations, and communication.

Additionally, the training helped firefighters maintain the skills necessary to handle large-scale fireground operations and strengthened the department's operational readiness. Serving Gloucester Township, the Chews Landing Fire Department is run by volunteers and career employes.
