Westfield (Union County NJ) Fire Department. The Westfield Fire Department is a ISO Class 2 career fire department that employs around 40 firefighters who protect a population of 31,000 in just under 7 square miles from 2 firehouses. The Westfield Hook & Ladder Company No. 1 was formed in 1875. Bucket & Engine Company was formed in 1881 and Empire Engine Company No. 2 was formed in 1883. The Westfield Fire Department was formed in 1883.


They have 2 stations 


Station 1 is located at 405 North Avenue West and was built in 1911. It houses:

Station 2 is located at 1029 Central Avenue, and was built in 1963. It houses:
