First Responder Mental Health and Wellness Conference in Atlantic City – Sept. 4–5, 2025

Atlantic City, NJ – The First Responder Mental Health and Wellness Conference is coming to Atlantic City on September 4–5, 2025, offering two impactful days of training, connection, and support for those who serve on the front lines. This important event is presented by 1st Responder Conferences and co-hosted by Neptune Township EMS and Burlington County Human Services.

Designed specifically for first responders and those who support them, this conference brings together law enforcement, fire, EMS, dispatchers, corrections, chaplains, peer support teams, mental health professionals, and spouses/significant others. With a focus on mental health, wellness, resilience, and suicide prevention, the event provides critical education and tools to help first responders care for themselves as they continue to serve their communities.

In an era of rising stress, trauma exposure, and burnout, the need for comprehensive mental health support in public safety professions has never been greater. This conference aims to break the stigma surrounding mental health challenges and create a space where first responders can learn, heal, and build resilience, both personally and professionally.

Attendees will benefit from:

  • Insightful presentations by nationally recognized speakers
  • Practical tools for self-care and stress management
  • Strategies to build and maintain peer support programs
  • Opportunities to connect with others who understand the unique demands of the job
  • Access to local and national wellness resources
