Bogota, N.J. — July 16 — As part of the department's regular equipment maintenance, Bogota firemen passed the yearly ladder test. The testing was conducted by members of the Top of the Hill Gang, Engine Co. 1, Engine Co. 3, and Hook & Ladder Co. 1. During emergency operations and fireground assignments, crews inspected ladder equipment. The testing assisted in verifying that the apparatus was still operational and prepared for usage.

Maintaining fireground equipment and promoting firefighter safety required routine testing and inspections. In order to maintain apparatus and equipment ready for emergency calls across the boro, the Bogota Fire Department continues to collaborate with local businesses.
