On July 17, Call Firefighter Peterson continued to pursue his driver/operator qualification on Tower 1 by training with Group 4.
Road driving, apparatus operation, placement drills, and tower-specific equipment familiarization were all part of the training's emphasis on finishing necessary clearance checkoffs. Before being authorized to operate department equipment, driver/operator candidates must finish intensive practical training with instructors.
