West Greenwich Crews Conducted Joint Fire Training

West Greenwich, R.I. — July 26 — Hope-Jackson Fire Co. and West Greenwich Vol. Fire Co. No. 1 members took part in a combined training exercise. The drill's main objectives were to find the fire's seat and any hidden extensions, search for victims ahead of the hose line, control the fire, and advance hose lines on the fireground. While completing routine fireground activities, crews rehearsed coordinating interior operations.

Firefighters from both departments had the chance to collaborate during the training and enhance their hose-line operations, communication, and search techniques. Before responding jointly to real emergency situations in nearby communities, joint exercises like this one help departments stay prepared and improve working relationships.
