First Responders Participate in Natural Gas and Carbon Monoxide Training

Dumont, NJ - More than 50 first responders from Dumont, Cresskill, and Bergenfield participated in a training session provided by PSEG focused on responding to natural gas and carbon monoxide emergencies.


The session provided firefighters and emergency personnel with valuable knowledge on identifying hazards, understanding the risks associated with gas and carbon monoxide incidents, and taking appropriate actions during emergency responses.


The training strengthened cooperation between neighboring departments and reinforced the importance of continued education and preparedness in protecting residents and communities from potentially dangerous utility-related emergencies.
