Vineyard Haven, MA. — August 3 — To help probationary firefighters improve their skills, the Tisbury Fire Department in Vineyard Haven hosted a Monday nite company training session with Engine 622. During practical exercises, new members practiced fundamental fireground skills, reviewed apparatus equipment, and collaborated with seasoned firefighters. The exercise reinforced emergency response protocols while emphasizing equipment knowledge, safe operations, teamwork, and communication.

Frequent company training helps departments maintain uniform operational standards and provides new firefighters with invaluable experience.
