On August 6, members of the Atwood Hose Fire Company traveled to Oneco for a training exercise on drafting operations in rural water delivery.

HT196 used 500 feet of large-diameter hose to supply Tower 167 with water drawn from a dry hydrant on Ekonk Hill during the drill. In a location without fire hydrants, the evolution simulated using a farm pond as a water source. This method is frequently utilized to support tanker shuttle operations or provide a steady supply of water during rural structure fires.
