In collaboration with MaineHealth Memorial Hospital, the Conway Fire Department offers ride-along opportunities for nursing staff in the emergency department.

Through the program, hospital nurses can witness emergency medical responses in the field and gain firsthand knowledge of the difficulties and skills faced by EMTs and paramedics working in a prehospital setting. The goal of the program is to improve communication and cooperation between hospital employees and prehospital providers.
