Alton Crews Sharpen Open-Water Rescue Skills

Before completing open-water rescue training in Alton Bay, members of the Alton Fire Department maintained the fire station for a portion of the third week of July.


Before engaging in their weekly open-water swim training, crews prepared the station and equipment for emergency situations by cleaning and organizing them. Maintaining water rescue abilities and getting firefighters ready for crises on nearby waterways were the main goals of the drill.
