Foster, R.I. — July 28 — The Foster Center Volunteer Fire Company, 86 Foster Center Road, P.O. Box 63, Foster, RI 02825, recognized Fire Chief Jason DiCarlo after he completed his first year leading the department. During the past year, DiCarlo oversaw emergency operations, supported firefighter training and helped strengthen department readiness for the Town of Foster.

Members credited his leadership with improving daily operations and continuing the department's commitment to volunteer service. As he began his second year as chief, firefighters remained focused on building teamwork, enhancing preparedness and providing dependable emergency response to the community.
