Acton, ME — July 4 — Acton Fire-Rescue, located at 1725 Route 109, observed Independence Day and urged locals and guests to observe the celebration in a responsible manner. Due to increased outdoor gatherings, grilling, and fireworks activities, the Fourth of July is typically one of the busiest periods for emergency responders. Throughout the holiday, the department was ready to handle any emergency.
