Sharon Fire Department Mourned Former Chief David Potter

Sharon, VT. — July 26 — David Potter, a retired fire chief who spent many years volunteering for the department and the Sharon community, passed away, according to the Sharon Volunteer Fire Department, located at 5808 Route 14. Potter had leadership positions that promoted public safety, firefighter training, and emergency response. His dedication to the fire department and the beneficial contributions he made during his years of service were recalled by other firefighters.


His commitment made the agency and the community it served stronger. In addition to acknowledging Potter's enduring achievements and commemorating a lifetime of service, the department sent its sympathies to his family, friends, and fellow firefighters.
