Ludlow, VT. — July 4 — Throughout the day's activities, the Ludlow Fire Department, located at 67 Pond St., provided fire and public safety coverage to support the community's Independence Day celebration. To assist provide a safe environment for the annual parade, family activities, and nightly fireworks display, firefighters collaborated with local law enforcement, emergency medical services, and event organizers.

While supporting traffic operations and crowd safety, the department continued to be ready to handle crises. In order to support huge public gatherings, emergency services must carefully prepare and coordinate Independence Day events. The department's presence allowed the community to celebrate the holiday in a responsible and safe manner while also protecting locals and guests.
