Rangeley Fire Rescue Reports Record 101 Calls in July

On August 1, Rangeley Fire Rescue released its July Monthly Call and Training Report, which highlighted a record 101 service calls and 74 training hours performed by department personnel.


Four fire calls, twenty medical crises, six rescue incidents, twenty hazardous situations, thirty-one public service calls, nineteen non-emergency replies, and one request for law enforcement support were all handled by firemen and EMS personnel throughout the month. Additionally, the department received and gave mutual aid four times.


The department's dedication to preserving specialized emergency response skills was reinforced by training that concentrated on sea rescue and Hazardous Materials Technician certification.
