Members of the Wells River Fire Department conducted their monthly training on July 21, focusing on structural firefighting and search and rescue operations.
Firefighters practiced donning self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and preparing for entry into simulated structure fire scenarios. The drill also included search and rescue exercises, where members reinforced the basic techniques used to locate and remove victims from buildings.
