Hillsborough, N.J. — July 24 — Charlie, a department member, celebrated his 90th birthday at Hillsborough Twp. Station 37 Fire in honor of his lifelong ties to the company and the fire service. To commemorate the occasion and recognize his years of commitment to the department and the Hillsborough Township community, fellow members came together. In addition to helping upcoming generations of firefighters, long-serving members contribute to the preservation of a department's history, customs, and dedication to public service.

Charlie was praised by department authorities for his ongoing participation and services over the years. Station 37's appreciation for individuals whose dedication and devotion have strengthened the department and the community it proudly serves was expressed in the birthday recognition.
