HILLSBOROUGH, N.J. — July 24 — Firefighters from Hillsborough Fire Co. #3 (Station 38) and Neshanic Fire Company (Station 48) participated in a low-angle rope rescue training exercise led by Flagtown Fire/Rescue – Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Co. #1, 20 Equator Ave. Before using those abilities in real-world rescue situations, members studied patient packaging, fundamental haul systems, and lowering strategies.

The practice reinforced the safe use of rope rescue equipment in situations involving embankments, uneven terrain, and other low-angle environments, building on training that was finished the week before. In addition to improving operational preparedness for technical rescue incidents across the region, joint training enhanced coordination between mutual aid departments.
