HILLSBOROUGH, N.J. — July 4 — Residents were reminded to enjoy Independence Day carefully by Hillsborough Fire Co. #3, Station 38, 324 Woods Road. Throughout the Fourth of July, the volunteer department stood prepared to handle rescues, fires, and other crises. The public was advised by fire officials to keep grills and open fires away from combustible items, use only authorized fireworks when allowed, and remain a safe distance from fireworks displays.

Additionally, the department acknowledged the commitment of its volunteer firefighters and mutual aid partners, whose ongoing support enabled Hillsborough Township to have consistent emergency response coverage during the holiday weekend and the remainder of the year.
