During graduation ceremonies on June 29, the Stony Brook Fire Department honored Ward Melville High School graduates on achieving a significant milestone.

Members of Explorer Post #0528 were also acknowledged by the department, which praised them for their commitment, diligence, and achievements in the classroom and via their involvement with the fire department. The grads were commended by officials for juggling their academic obligations with their dedication to the Explorer program.

As they embark on the next phase of their studies and professions, the department wishes all members of the Class of 2026 continued success.
