On June 27, as they celebrated their graduation and a significant educational milestone, the West Islip Fire Department honored a number of department members and junior members.
The department commended junior members Michael Maffetone and Matthew Daley as well as Julianne Arcoleo, Joseph Badala Jr., and Joseph Pelkowski for their diligence and commitment. As each graduate embarks on the next phase of their studies and careers, department leaders wish them great success.
