On July 20, the West Sayville Fire Department held a farewell tribute to celebrate the life and service of 51-year life member Ex-Captain Ed Postel.
Over the course of his fire service career, Postel served the community with dedication and leadership while volunteering for the department for more than 50 years. Both the department and the personnel who worked with him were profoundly impacted by his contributions.
