Saint Albans, VT. — July 10 — In recognition of Captain Louis Robtoy's years of community service, the St. Albans City Fire Department flew the American flag over his former fire station. Robtoy was a lieutenant in the St. Albans Town Fire Department and a career fireman in the city department. He spent a large portion of his firefighter career at the station where the homage was held. His leadership, devotion, and passion to public service were recalled by colleagues. Throughout his years of service, the St. Albans City and St. Albans Town fire departments had a solid collaboration, which was reflected in the recognition of the lasting influence of his work.
