Perry Fire Department Honors Howard Johnson's Retirement

On July 17, Howard Johnson was honored by the Perry Volunteer Fire Department upon his retirement following over 50 years of service.
In 1972, Johnson joined the department, carrying on his father's legacy of volunteerism. His son, Howie, and his grandkids, Cole and Zach, are still employed with the department, demonstrating the strength of this lineage.
In honor of his decades of service, Johnson received a personalized plaque made by fellow firefighter Eric Voisine during a retirement ceremony. Department representatives wished Johnson a long and happy retirement and praised him for his dedication.
