Regional Firefighters Complete Swift Water Rescue Training

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

On July 12, Logan Township career staff and firefighters from Gibbstown, Westville, and Logan Township finished their Swift Water Rescue Technician practicals at Oldmans Creek.

By completing their Job Performance Requirements (JPRs) effectively, participants strengthened the region's water rescue capabilities and obtained certification as Swift Water Rescue Technicians.

The Logan Township Fire Department expressed gratitude to R.E. Pierson for permitting the use of its waterfront property for the practical training and to the Salem County Fire Academy for giving instruction during the course.
