Volunteers from Gibbstown and Westville, as well as career personnel from the Logan Bureau of Fire, joined members of the Logan Township Fire Department for rapid water rescue training. While pursuing certification at the technician level, participants finished Swift Water Awareness and Operations training. A physical fitness swim test at Peachwood Swim Club and teaching on ropes, knots, and rigging systems used during water rescue operations were among the day's events. Volunteers finished their Swift Water Rescue Technician practicals at Oldmans Creek.
