On June 23, the Logan Township Fire Department trained new and junior firemen in Probie School.
The New Jersey 2-Minute Drill, which requires firemen to correctly put on their personal protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus in less than two minutes, kicked off the session. After that, Chief Oatman emphasized the significance of HazMat awareness in Logan Township's commercial and industrial districts while introducing firemen to the principles of hazardous materials response.
