Dorothy, N.J. — June 18 — Station 160 of the Elwood Volunteer Fire Company celebrated the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with local communities across the nation. The July 4 milestone, which marked 250 years since the nation's founding, included neighborhood festivals, historical events, and public ceremonies. Throughout the holiday, firefighters assisted with public safety and remained ready to handle emergencies when residents came together to celebrate Independence Day.
