On July 2, the Laurence Harbor Fire Department sent Marine 1 and Brush 103 to Aberdeen Township to offer mutual assistance coverage for the yearly fireworks display by the Cliffwood Volunteer Fire Department.
While local personnel were dedicated to the community event, the standby assignment made sure emergency response resources remained available. During big events and gatherings, mutual aid coverage contributes to public safety.
