At a swearing-in ceremony on June 26, the Avenel Fire Department welcomed fireman Kacper Glaba as its newest career fireman.
Glaba was formally admitted into the department's career ranks when the Board of Fire Commissioners administered the oath of office. His career as a professional firefighter serving the people of Avenel and Woodbridge Township began with this appointment.
