Tivoli Firefighters Refresh Water Rescue Skills

On June 30, Tivoli Fire Department personnel trained in boat operations and water rescue to improve their emergency response abilities.


A series of practical drills centered on boat operations, victim rescue tactics, collaboration, and communication were rotated through by firefighters. According to department officials, the training is a part of a continuous effort to make sure personnel are equipped to handle water-related situations in a safe and efficient manner.


In order to strengthen operational preparedness and attract community people who are interested in volunteering to join the group, the department intends to continue the training over the next few weeks.
