On June 17, the New York governmental Fire Department participated in a community celebration of Pride Month at The Parkside Lounge in Manhattan among other governmental departments.
Participants met with FDNY Commissioner Lillian Bonsignore, First Deputy Commissioner Daniel Flynn, and other department heads for discussions and a quiz contest with a Pride theme. Members of several city agencies came together to celebrate Pride Month and build relationships within the public safety community in New York City.
