Dummerston, VT. — July 4 — The Dummerston Fire Department celebrated Independence Day and the United States' 250th anniversary with towns all around the country. The agency honored the commitment of law enforcement, firefighters, EMS providers, veterans, military people, and other public safety professionals who continue to serve their communities while also acknowledging the nation's past.


Residents were urged by officials to celebrate responsibly by adhering to fireworks safety procedures and keeping an eye out for any fire threats while participating in holiday activities. The celebration also honored the generations-long heritage of volunteer work that has bolstered communities around the country and aided in emergency response.
