Pittsburgh, PA - Volunteers from multiple area departments came together to conduct the 2026 Summer Fire Camp, a two-day program designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of the fire service.

Members of the Cherry City Volunteer Fire Company played an active role in the training, instructing students in essential skills such as search and rescue operations within a structure and forcible entry techniques. Hands-on evolutions provided participants with practical experience and a better understanding of real-world firefighting scenarios.
