Holderness, NH - Holderness, NH Fire Department members took part in a hands-on wildland firefighting training at Rockywold-Deephaven Camps alongside camp staff.

The session focused on operating a portable pump to draft water in non-hydrant areas and constructing fire lines by clearing vegetation to slow wildfire spread.

Training together enhances coordination, strengthens community partnerships, and ensures crews are prepared to respond quickly and safely to wildland incidents. The department also extends its appreciation for the camp’s hospitality and support.
