Saturday June 27, 2026 The Luzerne Vol. Fire Dept in Luzerne County, PA celebrated their 135th anniversary. Since 1891 the Luzerne fire department has been active with response calls in town and assisting surrounding towns, and fundraisers, and getting involved with community events. The 135th anniversary event was held at the Luzerne fire dept and it included a parade, food vendor trucks, bounce houses, ice cream, and a smoke house and many more fun activites.
