Six junior firefighters were honored by members of Wilkins Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 3 on June 27th for their exceptional involvement in the Holiday Park Volunteer Fire Department's 2026 Junior Fire Camp.

According to officials, despite difficult weather conditions, the younger members demonstrated commitment, teamwork, and a great work ethic while completing several days of practical training and gaining various certifications. Throughout the camp, teachers continuously complimented the group's performance and demeanor, according to department heads. The chief of Holiday Park praised the Wilkins Township juniors during the concluding awards ceremony, calling them a great example of the department's future.
