53 fire replies and 59 quick reaction service (QRS) calls were included in the total, according to officials. The department has responded to 588 service requests in the first half of the year while offering emergency coverage to Springdale Township, Harmar Township, and Cheswick Borough. Additionally, by highlighting volunteer options for firefighters, QRS staff, and social members, the department used the monthly report to encourage community people to think about volunteering.
