Edgartown, MA - Edgartown Fire Department’s Paramedic Haley Duquette and EMT David Maranelli spent the afternoon working with the town’s Community Service Officers, providing hands-on training in essential lifesaving skills.

While these officers are often recognized for duties like traffic control and parking enforcement, they also play a vital role in public safety. Training covered CPR, Stop the Bleed techniques, and basic first aid—equipping them to take immediate action during emergencies.

This type of collaboration ensures more trained individuals are ready to respond, helping improve outcomes and strengthen overall community safety.
