Hilltown Township Completed Technical Rescue Training

Line Lexington, Pa. — June 10 — During a practice conducted by Continental Fire & Safety, Hilltown Township Volunteer Fire Company finished practical training with their new Paratech airbag rescue equipment. Firefighters trained deploying high-pressure airbags, a crucial weapon for technical rescue situations, to lift, stabilize, and move automobiles. Members were able to hone their stabilization and extrication skills by using two vehicles that were donated by Jaxx Towing and Salvage.


Firefighters can retain skill, enhance teamwork, and fortify emergency response capabilities by participating in regular drills using specialized rescue equipment. The department's ability to manage car wrecks, building collapses, and other technical rescue situations in Hilltown Township and surrounding areas was improved by the training.
