Mashpee. MA - Members of the Mashpee Fire Department responded to a call involving several ducklings trapped inside a storm drain and successfully brought all of them to safety.

Capt. Thayer and Firefighters Houde and Crowl located the young birds and carefully rescued all four ducklings without injury. Following the rescue, the ducklings were reunited with their family.

The successful animal rescue provided a memorable Father's Day call for the firefighters involved and highlighted the department's commitment to helping both residents and wildlife in the community.
