Easton, MA - Members of the Easton Fire Department, serving as part of the Bristol North County Dive Team, recently participated in specialized training drills focused on wide-pattern search techniques—an essential skill for locating victims and evidence in low-visibility water conditions.

Ongoing training like this helps ensure our personnel remain highly skilled, prepared, and ready to respond when needed.

As warmer weather draws more people to pools, lakes, ponds, rivers, and coastal waters, we encourage everyone to make water safety a top priority.

Wear a life jacket when appropriate, keep a close watch on children near water, and remember that even familiar swimming areas can present unexpected hazards.
